Meetup With KeinFie @ Compass Point

I met up with Keinfie at Compass Point this afternoon.

We had coffee plus lunch at Delifrance.

I ordered a Seafood Desire sandwich with Croissant as my choice of bread along with an Iced Mocha. We had a hearty chat while eating. I shared with Keinfie about the things i was going through and i am thankful that he was willing to lend me listening ear while he was eating. (Thanks for the treat :P)

After lunch, we walked around Compass Point, going into some shops. While we were inside a PC shop, we talked about the days where technology was very expensive like a 56k Modem costing a bomb when DSL modems were not yet introduced and how Microsoft is smart at forcing consumers to upgrade to new Operating Systems/hardware every now and then.

As we continued walking around, we talked about the difference between the children now and the children of the past. We agreed that children now have a lot of things thrown at them from a young age to learn and adapt to, how parents want the best for their child but at the same time causing them to be exposed to so much pressure at a young age etc.

We also went in to the SengKang Community Library and i borrowed a book on Windows Vista as i wanted to know the new features in the Operating System now having a laptop running Vista.

Our last stop was Ya Kun where we had drinks and another round of chit chat about our lives etc. I ordered an Iced Lemon Tea. The drink was not too sweet nor too bitter but just nice.
