Silly Things People Do To Set World Records

I happened to watch Guinness Book of World Records on TV just a moment ago, one of the attempts at setting a new world record was this:

Attempting to peel the most number of bananas in record time.

Believe me, the introduction to this attempt was very misleading:

The setting was in a gym. A man was shown holding a heavy weight-lift, on both ends of the weights were bananas attached to them. My first thought was, ok, so this man is going to try to attempt a new world record by carrying a weight-lift with as many bananas as possible attached to both ends of the weights.

Boy, i was wrong.

When the scene shifted to the "live" studio, the emcee announced that this man was going to try set a new world record by attempting to peel the most number of bananas in record time.

What a misleading introduction.
