Why Kids Should Never Handle Guns

I read through a news report on Yahoo! News on an 8 year old boy who fatally shot himself in the head due to a recoil caused by firing an Uzi.

Question is: What on earth was that boy's father doing? Letting his 8 year old son handle an Uzi?!
