The Reason Why I Do Not Attend Any Church
I get asked often why do I not attend any church, and I reject anyone who will ask me to go to visit their church.
They say the experiences you grew up with stay with you for life.
During my time in my former church, all I saw was excessive competitiveness, outright backstabbings, in-your-face sharp criticisms, gossiping disguised as prayer, false concerns and real motives. It was too ugly.
Just those few years of life in a church opened my eyes so wide I cannot shut them anymore.
Its easy to say oh just forgive them and move on, go to a new church that will suit you.
I'm sorry. Once bitten, twice shy is my principle.Its not a problem I have with the Lord, but its His fan-club. He is always faithful and never goes back on His Word.
I've resorted to getting my spiritual nourishment from Youtube these days. I like to listen to messages by Joseph Prince, Kenneth E Hagin and Joel Osteen.
And that is my reason.
