"Having Wiped Out The Requirements of The Law"
*If you are not a religious person or find religion offensive, please do not scroll down for the rest of this entry. Thanks :)
Do you hear these things spoken to you time after time even when you have done nothing wrong?
"He doesn't like you because you are not good enough haha!"
"She doesn't like you even though you helped her because your voice is irritating."
Sometimes, the things people say are not really from them.
Or how about these inner thoughts we all struggle with daily?
"You are so fat, people look at your tummy everyday."
"Your hair is so curly you won't look good with any hair style."
Switch the "you" to an "I" and you get the picture.
The world tells you that you have esteem issues, mood issues, anger issues and etc, the truth is someone out there doesn't like you and me pretty much.
Whose that someone?
When Christ Jesus died on the Cross, the Scriptures said "having wiped out the requirements of the law...", question is if Christ Jesus died to save you and me, was it really just to save us from our sins alone or from something far more sinister that mankind has ever faced?
I've been following Pastor Joseph Prince's preachings for almost 2 and a half years now since I am not attending any church or consider myself a Christian. But 1 thing I can attest to is in his teachings, he brings out the fullness and graciousness of Christ Jesus.
1 endless theme that resonates in his trachings is Christ Jesus has dealt with the Law once and for all, in his death on the Cross, so was the legal right of the Devil or Satan over the believers. The Devil or Satan uses the very Law to pin out every single fault of us all making us powerless and even defeated, but praise the Lord, Christ Jesus has already dealt with the law and so dealt with the Devil or Satan too.
We can look forward to His coming back with confidence and encourage one another as His return draws near.
