Silly Me

I was calling one of my friends on the phone when the other side picked up,

Me: "Hi, may I speak to XXX please?"
Other side: "You are calling your own house."
Me (feeling confused, maybe the answerer thought I was my friend): "Hi, may I speak to XXX please?"
Other side: "Hello you are calling your own house, (addresses me as second brother)."
Me (realising I called my OWN HOUSE): "Oh sorry! Haha I was calling my friend."

And another incident was this:

I was using my computer when my dad walked in, he looked at a photo on my screen and asked who was that. I replied back that it was me and my dad went "Oh, thats you."
After living in the same house with my dad for the past 25 years of my life, my dad just found out how his son looks like.
