Michael Jackson

I loved Michael Jackson as a kid. Whenever I went out with my family in my dad's old Mercedes Benz car, I would always want my parents to play Michael Jackson's Dangerous cassette tape and sung along doing my own kiddish dance moves.

I remember the afternoons when I would play that very same cassette tape on my old cassette tape player listening to my favourite tunes and falling asleep while enjoying Michael's music.

I bought his album titled "History" in 1996 and would play the songs on the CD over and over again, completely mesmerized. A favourite song of mine from that album was "You are not alone".


When news and rumours of his botched plastic surgery such as the bleaching of his skin to white and his nose which fell off from his face spread, my perception of him changed.

I was one of those who made fun of his plastic surgeries and airy voice, come to think of it, I feel bad that I made fun of his appearance and mannerisms especially when I watched one of his fans' YouTube video where his fan explained why Michael's skin became white in color to his reason for plastic surgery.

Rest in peace Michael Jackson, your music and your legend lives on in your fans' hearts forever.
