This New Year Season
Have some lovely red wine to commemorate the New Year, but please, don't overindulge! (Be a safe drinker and driver too, trust me, your family and friends will love you even more for this.)
Whether its 3 Blind Moose/Acacia/Folonari or Honig, there's a different red wine for the different tastebud.
Even though I hardly drink red wine (I prefer simple alcoholic drinks instead like good 'ol Jolly Shandy), I wouldn't mind a small sip.
Have your lovely reunion dinner/lunch with your family members too! I simply adore the Ngoh Hiang (prawn rolls) made by my Aunt, they are simply delicious!
Chinese New Year is also the time when I get to actually taste my mother's superb cooking. (She only cooks once a year *sad*.)
Catch up on the good old days with your friends too, I'm inviting mine to my place this week.
And last but not least, always remember to bring a pair of Mandarin oranges on your visitations! :)
Henceforth wishing all my blog readers/visitors/friends, a Prosperous New Year 2009!
