My View On The Mumbai Terrorist Attacks
This world isn't at all the least safe. Take into the considerations the recent Mumbai terrorist rampage leaving hundreds dead including a Singaporean.
Many people criticized George Bush for his hard handed policies on tackling terrorism by sending troops to foreign countries such as Afghanistan and Iraq causing countless American families to lose their precious sons with many calling George Bush the "cause of the death of so many American servicemen and servicewomen."
It is because of incidents like this that made George Bush take such a approach towards the issue of Terrorism. With Barrack Obama as the new and soon-to-be American President. What is he going to do about this "thorn in the flesh"?
I guess the world can only watch and wait for the new American President to come up with his new policies which he cites as "changes".
I, as a fellow Singaporean, feel empathy for the Singaporean victim's family. The victim had just wedded her husband half a year ago and now her husband has to face an empty life. It's not just her husband whose feeling the loss, its also her parents and siblings who feel the loss.
My condolences to the family of the Singaporean victim. Rest in peace.
