Irritating Virus

It's been a few days since the pain started in my joints: wrists, ankles, kneecaps, etc and last night the Doctor suspected that it was caused by a virus. He gave me antibiotics, anti-inflammatory pills and painkillers. I'm still trusting God that He will heal me.

I heard this quote a few times from Christians that we should put our trust solely in God and not in doctors. I beg to differ, its the same as saying we give thanks to God for our food but did we ever thank the people who worked hard to provide us with food?

If I were a surgeon and my patients tell me they cannot trust me but trust God, I'll feel insulted! Of the many Christian "sayings" that we just blindly hear and practice, are they even Biblical in the first place?

Does it mean that if a patient rests in his doctor's good care, he is sinning against God? Does it mean that we should only give thanks to God for our meals and not the people who worked in the process to ensure that we have food to even eat in the first place?

Learn to question everything that is taught to you before you "digest".
