I went down to Bugis today to meet Cindy to accompany her to Sim Lim Square to purchase computer accessories for her sister's MacBook Pro. Since I arrived at Bugis 20 minutes earlier than the scheduled meeting time, I decided to walk around Bugis Junction. I found myself in the food court at the 3rd or 4th storey wanting to have a drink.

When I gave my order for a Teh Bing (Iced Milk Tea) at the drinks stall, I was shocked when I saw my drink in a tall glass and the price costing $1.70! My gosh! A $1.70 Teh Bing in a tall glass! I texted Aileen, Cindy and Keinfie on my mobile telling them about my "shocking discovery".

Me: Gosh! I just ordered a Teh Bing at Bugis Junction for $1.70! I never knew Teh Bing was a product of diesel. :(
Cindy: Lol, fuel price will cost at least $2.
Kein Fie: Lol, that's why I always patronize residential coffee shops. Next time buy Ice Mountain.
Aileen: What size is the Teh Bing? Big cup or small cup?
Daniel to Cindy: Next time Teh Bing price go up again, I be President, give everyone free Teh Bing. :P
Daniel to Kein Fie: I hope Ice Mountain has Teh Bing flavor :(
Daniel to Aileen: Tall glass, taller than normal coffe shop plastic cup.
Cindy: Lol, see if you become President first.
Aileen: Lol, you feel heartpain?
Daniel to Cindy: Sadded. :(
Daniel to Aileen: Ya :(

When Cindy reached Bugis MRT, we walked down to Sim Lim Square. My, there is this drink stall selling a wide variety of colored drinks, I felt so tempted!

After walking from shop to shop in Sim Lim Square, we had our dinner outside the OG building. I ordered a packet of Nasi Lemak for myself, having eaten halfway, I realize some of the ingredients had this decomposed taste! I then had to abandon my Nasi Lemak for Fried Wan Ton Mee (Fried Dumpling Noodles). The dumplings were fried to perfection, yummy!

After having our dinner, I accompanied Cindy back to Sim Lim Square and then went home.
