Reality

Imagine a day when you actually wake up before your alarm clock rings, you feel refreshed after a good night's rest, ready for the new day. Walking into your bathroom, your toothbrush has a layer of toothpaste on it, prepared by your loving companion just for you. The hot water for your bath is ready as well, your clothes have been laid out on your chair for you to change into.

Ah, everything is perfect for once today...

You walk downstairs for breakfast. Your companion has prepared a sumptous breakfast for you comprising of eggs and bacon with a glass of fresh milk.

Life is wonderful...

When you reach your office, your colleagues greet you with smiles, your boss calls you into his office and praises you for your good work performance. You expect a raise to come soon.

After work, when you reach home, your companion gives you a kiss and dinner is waiting for you. Dinner is a delicious spread of honey roast chicken, garden salad, honey glazed pork ribs and soup.

You're in heaven. Bliss. Sweet.

The alarm clock rings, you jolt out of bed. Shocked. It was all just a dream.

You drag yourself out of bed into the bathroom. The water heater doesn't work. The toothpaste has ran out. Your toothbrush is lying on the floor, you realise that your companion used it to wash the toilet bowl.

Your clothes are not ironed.

You go down for breakfast, there is no breakfast, but your dog looks at you and goes back to sleep.

Upon reaching the office, your colleagues snigger at you. Your boss calls you in. You get a hell of a scolding from him. There is no raise coming your way, only demotion.

Aww.

You reach home after a grueling day's of work. Dinner is not ready. You catch your wife in bed with another woman.
