An article in today's Straits Times amused me. The report stated that this certain company will be implementing a new form of transport payment mode (to replace the existing EZ-Link cards) which is in the form of a chip. It's life span is only 1 and a half years compared to an EZ-Link card's life span of 5 years.
Seriously, if that company gets its way, the transport system in Singapore will be even more messed up.
So what if your idea is "innovative, cutting-edge, latest"? Do the people even want it?
All new technology need not mean good, efficient, useful technology, they can be rubbish also.
